Latest IE9 not supported by Windows XP

However, there is bold step taken by the latest IE9. The bad part of IE9 is that the Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) is not supported by Windows XP and will never be in the further. Only two operating systems can be use to support the new IE9 – Windows Vista and Windows 7. It is a major problem and this is seen to be a back step move where IE9 will lose a big portion of market (40% of global PC user use Windows XP even after the release of Windows 7).

For Windows XP user, you may still continue to use IE8 or can shift to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for alternative.
