The Singapore 2011 General Election is around the corner. As scheduled, the Singapore 2011 General Election will held on 7 May 2011 and Singaporean have their right to choose their choice of candidate on that day. The winners will represent Singaporean in Parliament of Singapore for the next 5 years.
For this term of Singapore General Election, 87 seats, crafted into 27 electoral divisions, are up for grabs. Several opposition parties like Workers’ Party of Singapore(WP), Singapore People’s Party (SPP), National Solidarity Party (NSP) and newcomer, Reform Party will try to tussle with the dominant, People’s Action Party (PAP) to lead Singapore. The general election campaign will start with the nomination day on 27 April 2011.
