The Thailand 2011 General Election is around the corner. As scheduled, the Thailand 2011 General Election will held on July 3, 2011 and Thai people have their right to choose their choice of candidate on that day. The elected representative will represent Thai people in House of Representative of Thailand for the next 5 years.
For this term of Thailand General Election, 500 seats covering 375 constituencies are up for grabs. The main parties contesting in this election are Democrat Party led by Abhisit Vejjajiva, Pheu Thai Party led by Yingluck Shinawatra, Bhumjaithai Party by Chaovarat Chanweerakul and Chartthaipattana Party by Chumphol Silapaarcha. The voting day will be on 3rd July 2011.
The polling is currently going on, the counting of the votes will be carried out very soon.
