Do you want to know what your computer is made of? If yes then how do you go about getting such information? One way is to crack open your CPU or laptop to check them out. Another way is to go to the “System” section in your Control Panel which gives you information about the type of processor you are using, the RAM that you’ve got in your computer, and etc. But what if you are a tech freak that want to know more about your computer. For example what’s the code name of your processor, what’s the bus speed, the temperature of the CPU, the type of RAM, the frequency and etc?
To get those information, you need a software called Speccy which give you more details about your computer then you might not even comprehend. After the installation, you will be presented with the overview of the Hardware available in the computer. To get a more in depth information, you can click on the respective sections which are shown in the screenshot below.
You can also click on the indicator icons which will show you the changes in the temperature or speed of your computer over time.
I personally think that the software will come in handy if/when you are buying a second hand PC or laptop. Just install the software in the computer and you can check the specs to see if it is as claimed.
