iPad has gain quite an attention since its launched. There are many flaws been pointed out by many websites and I myself have even made a post about some of the reasons why iPad sucks (click here to read). But above all these criticisms, I also pointed out that iPad is not all that bad. At least it is a better eBook reader than the Amazon Kindle (click here to read).
In this post I would just like to point out something that is missing with iPad. Did you notice? What is it that is missing?
Apparently, if you have not notice, there are some missing applications in iPad that you can find in iPhone and iPod touch. The applications mentioned are the Clock, Weather, Stocks, Calculator and Voice Memos. The question is why are these useful applications being opt out of iPad.
The possible answer to this is that the applications will make iPad looks ugly due to its larger 9.7in display. We know that many applications in iPad are upscaled iPod and iPhone application in which the pixels are multiplied to fill the whole screen. Therefore it will definitely looks weird to have the calculator to fill the whole screen. The buttons will certainly be as huge as the size of your biscuits. Well, it should be a big deal for Apple to just create a bigger version of these applications. So why have they not been created?
