I have no idea how the value is derived but I suppose it is made purely by looking at the amount of traffic you enjoyed every day and the number of external links that your website has together with many other factors. But this website might not be able to value your website based on what your website is all about and how you monetized on your traffic which is also an important aspect for valuing a website. (click here to read on how much a unique visitor is worth). Therefore, the value given is highly debatable.
Regardless, it is still an interesting thing to know how much your website is worth. As for the case of MyTechQuest.com, you can be assured that the website has a high value considering the owner of the site made about RM1,750 per month solely on advertisement.

The website was made after his failed attempt to monetize on his previous website, makemoneyonline.blogspot.com. Ironic as it may be, I guess that probably shows that perseverance is the key to success.
