Yup, that’s right. The long-anticipated fourth generation of iPhone – iPhone 4, is finally arrived Malaysia. Two giant Malaysian Telco companies – Maxis and Digi have bring the latest iPhone to Malaysia. Both challengers have released their own plans and pricing. iPhone 4 is starting to be sold from today onwards.
MAXIS
Maxis released two iPhone 4 plans - iValue Plans and iData Plans.
- iValue Plans monthly fee range from RM100 to RM375 and iPhone 4 price ranged from FREE to RM1990.
- While iData Plans monthly fee are either RM50 or RM99 and iPhone 4 price ranged from RM1590 to RM2390.

- Contract upgrade
Contract upgrade allows existing customers on a contract to purchase a new iPhone while retaining their existing mobile number.
If you are currently under a phone contract with Maxis (iPhone and selected smartphones), then you are eligible for a contract upgrade*. A contract upgrade extends your current contract for either 12 or 24 months depending on how many months is left on your existing contract.
For instance, if you are on a 12 months contract with 6 months remaining, you can purchase an iPhone 4 by extending the months on your current contract. Your new contract duration will be a total of your remaining months + the new contract upgrade period.
E.g. 6 months (remaining contract) + 12 months (new contract upgrade) = 18 months (new contract period)

DiGi
DiGi offers 3 options for customers to choose, to own an iPhone 4.
- iDigi Postpaid Plans. Promotional Monthly Fee pricing only applicable for NEW signups from 24th September 2010 onwards.
- Pricing and Payment Options. There are two options : Option1 (Pay Upfront) and Option2 (Easy Payment Plan).
Option1 is you pay with cash or credit cards. Monthly fee ranged from RM63 to Rm163 and pay upfront from RM2090 to RM2490. You will save up to RM1890 for this option.
Option2. You will enjoy 0% Interest Easy Payment Plan over 24 or 36 months with selected credit cards. Monthly fee ranged from RM63 to Rm163 and you will save up to RM1890 for this option.
- Plan Upgrade Options. Feel that your current plan doesn’t suit your mobile style? Find an iDiGi plan that’s right for you after the first 90 days on your current iDiGi plan.
