By looking at the image above, many would not fail to recognize that it is the user interface of the HTC Android phones. A big digital clock coupled with a series of weather forecasting icons directly below is the distinctive feature of the UI and perhaps is also one of the biggest temptations for the people to buy the phones.
Now though, you can have this feature on your PC with HTC Home. HTC Home is a lightweight application that is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Upon launching the application, you will get you widget appearing in the center of the desktop screen. You can move the widget to any position you wanted to by dragging it.
You can access the setting windows by right-clicking the application. There are many ways for you to customize the widget including the size, the position and the appearance of the widget, etc. By default the widget will display the weather forecast of New York City but you can always change the location in the setting windows.
There are many weather gadgets that are available for Windows 7 and Vista but none comes close to this widget in terms of the aesthetic and animation that this widget has.
