The “Blue Screen of Death” is the most feared situation for PC users. It happens without warning and once it happened, it happens more frequently. This is the biggest problem of Windows OS which have no solution other than formatting your operating system.
I have experienced this situation quite frequently on my previous Acer laptop that runs on Windows Vista. It made me crazy especially when I have not saved my precious files.
Now, in conjunction with April Fool Day today, lets put up a “harmless” prank on your friends – The Blue Screen on Death. The prank is easy to be carried out and it does not harm your computer as it is just a screen saver.
The blue screen cycles different blue screen with different blue screen error each time the screen saver get initiated, the screen saver runs after every 15 seconds.
What you need to do is:
1. Download the file here.
2. Extract the file.
3. Place it in your Computer/Local Disk (C:)/Windows/System 32 (only the screen saver file, not the txt file)
4. Activate your Blue Screen Saver in your screen saver personalization section.
It should works the same for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Once your friend saw the blue screen in his or her laptop, it will definitely drives him or her crazy. Just hope that the real blue screen doesn’t appear. You can press esc to exit the screen saver.
