Many of us use Google as our primary search engine and every time we go to the Google homepage, we were greeted with the plain, white and rather boring background. Well, is there any way to spice up the homepage?

Yes, there is. And the easiest way to do so is to add a background image.

To add a background image, you have to first sign in to your Google Account. After you have signed in, you will notice that there is a link in the lower left-hand corner of your homepage which will allow you to place your background image to the homepage.

You can choose were to select your background image, either from ‘my computer’, My Picasa’, Public gallery’ or ‘Editor’s picks’.

After you have chosen your image, just click on ‘Select’ at the bottom of the window. It may take a moment before your new Google homepage background appears.

The image formats that are supported in Google homepage are .jpeg, .tiff, .bmp, .gif, .psd, .png, .tga, and selected RAW formats.

Now your Google homepage will never look dull again.
